The 13th annual Canandaigua Classic Antique Show and Sale was held at Finger Lakes Casino and Racetrack, 5857 Route #96, Farmington, NY from 9 AM to 4 PM. There were over 40 quality antique dealers displaying and selling antiques in the modern racetrack club house.
Wares typically included country and period furniture, clocks, lamps and lighting fixtures, jewelry, postcards, paintings and books, linens, and all kinds of antique accessories. Returning this year were many dealers who have made the show a popular mid-winter event.
~ Admission $5.00.
~ Refreshments available throughout the day.
~ Plenty of free parking available.
Proceeds of the show will go toward the continued upgrade of one of the carriage barns at the Granger Homestead's Carriage Museum in Canandaigua. The museum owns nearly 100 carriages, sleighs and other horse drawn vehicles with over 70 vehicles on display, making it one of the largest public carriage collections in the Northeast United States. A unique feature of the collection is that the vehicles were built or used in Western New York State; it is one of the premier regional collections in the United States.
